KEYNOTE SPEAKERS
Sarah Krajewski is an elementary art educator, published children’s book author, and visual artist. Sarah has worked with The Art of Education University as an Instagram Live host, writer, and content creator. She was keynote speaker at Art Education Association Conferences for Michigan and Indiana. She was 2019 Wisconsin Art Teacher of the Year and served on the WAEA Board. Sarah is the coach of the CES Art Club and Art Show Advisor. Each art class, Sarah’s students recite a mantra- “I am Positive. I am Creative. I am Mindful. I am Amazing. I am an Artist.”
Matt Young is dedicated to fostering student success both in the classroom and beyond. A 1995 graduate of Capital University with a BFA in Fine Art and a Master's in Education, Matt currently teaches Ceramics, Sculpture, Metals, Computer Graphics, and AP Art. He also serves as the department chairperson and is a past president of the Ohio Art Education Association. Matt believes that student success stems from meaningful relationships and connecting art to real-life experiences.
As a noted speaker, he has presented at the NAEA Convention, The Art of Education, and various educational conferences nationwide. He has also written articles for Davis Publications, NAEA, The Art of Education, and the Ohio Department of Education.
