Jeanine doesn't only teach art...she lives it. Her and her husband Marty, a police officer, have built
a home that expresses their artistic desire. From planters, to tables, to outrageous Halloween parties, she leave no artistic touch unnoticed. She brings her love for photography into the classroom and has shared many award winning students photos and videos with the public through a duel publication, Bloodstone, between the english and art department. She inspires her students to dream and create like designers, engineers, inventors, and artists.
Jeanine has worked with community resources to promote and enhance her students art experience. She has headed and worked on various community mural projects and school fundraising opportunities. Jeanine has taken students all over the world to engulf them in other cultures and art experiences. Her students admire her passion so much, they return from college to travel abroad with her year after year. Her classrooms are always being redesigned to accommodate new technology, alternative seating areas, and room to create. She has been various art club advisors and worked on district Cii committees.
Congratulations to Jeanine Kleman for being the October teacher of the month for WAEA.
