Hello my name is Melissa Mulvaney. I graduated from UW-Eau Claire in 2005 with a degree in Art Education (k-12) and Biology Education (6-12). For the past 15 years, I have taught art in the Tomah School District as an art teacher. I have taught a wide variety of ages and abilities. This has truly made me believe art is for everyone and that we as humans have an innate need to create. I enjoy helping students make connections to their lives, feeling and other content areas through the art making process. I also run an art club for students 3rd through 5th grade with our focus on spreading kindness in our community through their art. The joy and pride students find through helping others is inspirational.
