![]() My name is Briana Cleary and I am an elementary Art Teacher at Northside Elementary School in Monroe, WI. I received my bachelor’s degree in Art Education and Graphic Design from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in 2005. Shortly after, I began teaching elementary art in the School District of Monroe where I am currently in my fourteenth year of teaching. During that time, I have earned my Masters in Educational Leadership from Cardinal Stritch as well as my National Board Certification in Early and Middle Childhood Art. I love exposing my students to a variety of art mediums, artists and cultures to grow their creativity and skills. The last few years have been the highlight of my teaching because of the collaboration time our district has given teachers. I get to spend 90 minutes a week with the best team of art teachers!! We have done some amazing curriculum work and secured grants to enhance what we are teaching. When I am not busy creating and teaching, I am spending time with my husband Patrick and two daughters, Braylin (8) & Elyse (6).
